Wade Jerry Beavers, 78, of Murphy passed away Sunday, January 25, 2026. He was the son of the late Ernest Paul and Mildred Jordan Beavers.
He was a carpenter in the residential industry. Wade enjoyed wood working, starting the day off early, drinking coffee, and spending time with his family. He was an avid gamer. Wade was a member of the Calvary Holiness Church in Murphy, NC.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Beavers; and a sister, Helen Beavers.
Wade is survived by his wife, Juanita Rich Beavers; sons, Jerry Beavers, and Billy Beavers; daughter, Teresa Beaver (Stephen); sisters, Pamela Sue Chastain, Diane Byess, and Mae Elliott; and 17 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 28, 2026 in the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rex Mashburn officiating. Pallbearers will be Steven Jones, Luke Beavers, Jason Raper, Jack Raper, Panfilo Hernandez, Adalberto Hernandez, and Jeremich Beavers. Honorary pallbearers will be Phillip Anderson, and Craig Beasley. Burial will be in the Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Murphy, NC.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Tuesday, January 27 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home, Murphy.
