William Eddie Graham, age 92 of Blairsville, GA passed away Friday, January 23, 2026.
He was born in Cherokee County, NC to the late William Edward and Carrie Payne Graham. Eddie attended Western Carolina University. He became really good friends with S. Truett Cathy with Chick-fil-A, working to establish orphanages and foster homes. Eddie worked for Eastern Airlines for 15 years in Marketing/Sales. One time, in an emergency he also served as airline steward. He also obtained his contractor license and built homes. His last occupation was owner and operator of a furniture store called Town and Country in Blairsville until he retired.
Eddie was as member of Little Brasstown Baptist Church and had many accomplishments. He served as Brotherhood Director for seven years. Also, he was director of the Greeting Committee.
He served as the President for the Quarterback Club in Blairsville, member of the Rotary and a was a member of the Union County Development Authority for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Susie Graham of Blairsville, GA; one daughter, Peggy Wilson; one granddaughter, Amber Howell and her son, Wyatt Howell of Alabama; grandson, Evan Graham of Dinwiedie, VA; step daughter, Lisa Walker (Allan) of Blackstone, VA; step daughter, Sabrina Rogers Huskins of Martin, GA; step son, Israel Rogers of Hayesville, NC; step grandsons, Noah Rogers (Emma) of Hayesville and Riley Rogers of Hayesville; and one great granddaughter, Prairie.
Funeral Service will be held at 2 pm, Sunday, February 1, 2026 at the Little Brasstown Baptist Church. Rev. Aud Brown and Rev. Jimmy Tanner will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Riley Rogers, Noah Rogers, Keith Holloway, Dale White, John Chastain and LB Adams.
The family would like to express their greatest gratitude and thanks to the staff at Union County Nursing Home for loving, taking care and making Eddie "their golden boy" a part of their family
