Kenneth Hogsed, age 77 of Hayesville, NC passed away Thursday, January 29, 2026.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Clay County, NC and the son of the late Andrew Neal and Mattie Kay Moss Hogsed. Kenneth worked for NC Department of Transportation in Hayesville. He loved music, especially gospel music, singing and playing the guitar. Kenneth attended the Chatuge Hills Church of God.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Tricia Conley Hogsed; two daughters, Michelle Canup and Lucinda Powell (David); one brother, Ronnie Hogsed (Kathy); six grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm, Monday, February 2, 2026 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Chapel of Hayesville. Evangelist Billy Trotter will officiate. Burial will be in the Union Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons.
The family will receive friends from 12 pm to 2 pm, Monday, February 2, 2026 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel of Hayesville.
Townson-Rose Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
