Obituary for Colette M. Boulton

Colette M. Boulton (née Parkin), 68, of Murphy, North Carolina, passed peacefully at home on March 9, 2026.

Colette was born on August 18, 1957, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She later spent many years in Woodbury, New Jersey, where she raised her son and built lifelong friendships.

Colette had a deep love for animals and found joy in caring for the living things around her. Whether tending to her plants or spending time with her pets, she found peace and happiness in nature. She had a natural gift for connecting with people and brightening the day of those around her.

Colette was the beloved wife of David Boulton and a devoted mother to Terrence Kirschner and his wife, Jessica.

Her compassion for animals inspired a village of friends, family, and community members who joined together to help support efforts to ensure pets are spayed and neutered, reflecting Colette's lifelong dedication to animal welfare.

Colette touched many lives and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
