Betty Lurene Ingle Allison, age 76 of Murphy, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026.
Betty was born in Murphy to the late Carter and Louise Quick Ingle. She worked as a real estate broker. Betty enjoyed reading, collecting vintage items and taking pictures. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Betty was a member of Tomotla Baptist Church in Marble.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Paul, Grady and Horace Ingle.
She is survived by her husband, Tom Allison; her son Mitchell Allison; her brother Wayne Ingle; several nieces and nephews; and great-niece, Kaitlynn Davis.
A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy with Rev. Harold Stiles and Pastor Keith Allison officiating. Burial will be in Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Murphy. Pallbearers will be Kaiden Davis, Landon Slaten, Kevin Bailey, Steve Johnson, Danny White, Ronnie White and Shane Allison.
The family will receive friends from 12pm to 1pm on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 prior to the funeral service.
