Carlotta "Lottie" Jane Palmer, age 58 of Murphy, NC passed away on Friday, September 11, 2020.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Cherokee County, NC. She was the daughter of the late Carl and Sandra Martin Palmer. Carlotta was a sawmill lumber grader for Mundy's Lumber. She was previously the manager for Palmer's Construction Company. Carlotta loved to dance, fish, camping, reading and loved her family. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her step mother, Kathy Palmer; one son, James Pendergrass; her companion in life, Doug Pendergrass; two brothers, Carlos Palmer, and Danny Palmer and wife Revonda; two sisters, Cassie Conley and husband Robert and Noley Sutton and husband Whitey; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 7 pm, Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel of Murphy. Reverend Donald Watkins and Reverend Tony Pace will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 5 pm - 7 pm on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel of Murphy.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
