Edward Magness, age 75 of Andrews, NC passed away Saturday, December 5, 2020.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Cherokee County, NC and the son of the late Harvey and Katherine Crisp Magness. Edward was a US Marine and US Army veteran. He was an enthusiast for Rock Hounding. When Edward was growing up he attended the First United Methodist Church in Andrews and later in life he became a member of the Jimmy Swaggart Ministries Media Church.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Crisp.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Hicks Magness; one son, James Robin Magness of Clarkesville, TN; two daughters, Shannon Katherine Ramsey of Wilmington, NC and Charity Magness of Andrews; one sister, Rebecca Woods of Andrews; and several grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
No services are planned.
