Joshua Matthew Bartlett, age 11, of Murphy passed away Friday, September 03, 2021 at Brenner Children's Hospital. Joshua loved playing video games, playing chess, enjoyed family time, and loved his dog Spot.
He was the son of David and Amanda Onderco Bartlett of Murphy.
He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Robert Bartlett; a brother, Robert Allen; and a sister, Brittany Ann.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his grandparents; Mary Ingle, and Debbie and Alan Onderco; a brother, David, Jr., and two sisters, Ashley Marie, and Emily Nicole; six uncles, Timothy Bartlett and wife Jeanne, Dale Bartlett and wife, Patricia, Gary Bartlett and wife, Cindy, James Bartlett and wife, Sally, Eric Onderco and wife, Elizabeth, and Stephen Onderco and wife, Ashley.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, September 11, 2021 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home, Murphy with Rev. Harold Stiles, Pastor Tim Bartlett, and Rev. Patrick O'Dell officiating. Interment will be in the Bob West Cemetery in Robbinsville. Pallbearers will be Tim Bartlett, Dale Bartlett, Gary Bartlett, Ronnie Bartlett, and David Barlett, Jr.
The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 Saturday afternoon at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home, Murphy.
