Bruce Clinton Stroud, age 70 of Andrews, NC passed away Thursday, May 21, 2026.
He was born in Union County, GA to the late Paul and Frankie Hutchins Stroud. Bruce worked at Team Industries as a painter. He loved hunting and fishing. Bruce enjoyed going to flea markets but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. He attended McClelland Cove Baptist Church.
Bruce is survived by his wife, Audrey Gibby Stroud; two brothers, Boyd "Gene" Stroud (Hazel) of Murphy and Vern Stroud (Angie) of Marble; two sisters, Paula Ware (Tommy) of Hiawassee, GA and Ramona Hensley of Andrews; four nieces and nephew; and many great nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 pm, Monday, May 25, 2026 at the Townson-Rose Chapel in Andrews, NC. Rev. David Anderson will officiate. Music will be provided by Eric and Cathy Chapman. Burial will be in the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be John Stroud, Gavin McCray, John Walker, Jordan Raxter, Chris James and Hoot Gibbs.
The family will receive friends from 11 am to 1 pm, Monday, May 25, 2026 at the Townson-Rose Chapel in Andrews.
Townson-Rose Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
