Dorothy Patricia Koch, 70, of Murphy passed away Wednesday, December 01, 2021 in Canton, Georgia. She was born in Bayshore, New York to the late Roy and Dorothy Harrison Bloomquist. Dorothy was a homemaker. She loved bowling, Hallmark movies, and Beach-Ocean (her favorite place). Dorothy was of the Episcopalian faith and loved her family and spending time with them.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Bloomquist.
Surviving is her husband, Kenneth R. Koch; a son, Brian Koch and his wife, Brianna Koch; three daughters, Jennifer Beckley and her husband, Timothy, Kimberly Marin and her husband, Cesar, and Heather Klein and her husband, Kris; a brother, Roy Bloomquist and his wife, Winnie; two sisters, Lorie Giorgano and her husband, Jimmy, and Terri Rice and her husband, Chris; and 14 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home, Murphy with Deacon Turner Guidry officiating.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 pm Tuesday, December 7th at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home prior to the services.
