Peggy Lucille Loomis, age 80 of Murphy, NC passed away Thursday, January 27, 2022.
She was born in Hamlet, NC to the late Grover and Edna Grant English. Peggy was a homemaker. She loved spending time with her kids and grandkids.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two infant children; and two brothers.
She is survived by her husband, William Loomis; two sons, Creig Loomis (Rebecca) of Largo, FL and Dale Loomis (Vivian) of Adel, GA; one daughter, Caryn Beavers (Wesley) of Murphy, NC; four grandchildren: Matthew, Jennifer, Stephanie and Michael Loomis; and 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 6 pm, Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy. Rev. Kyle Cody will officiate. Pallbearers will be great grandsons: Trent, Owen and Kasen Beavers, Eli and DJ Waugh and Matthew Loomis, Jr.
The family will receive friends from 4 pm to 6 pm, Saturday, February 5, 2022 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home.
