Eugene Smith, age 88 of Bryson City, NC passed away Sunday, November 26, 2023.
He was born in Robeson County, NC and the son of the late Rose Durden. Eugene was an electrician. He enjoyed fishing and working with leather.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by one son, Douglas Johnson.
He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Sandi Johnson Smith; children, William Smith, Patricia Griesmeyer, Janet Smith, Shannon Lutz (Patrick), Lynda Smith (Kevin Foley), Kandi Johnson and Lana Johnson Barton (Chris); and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
No services are planned at this time.
