Mark John Lafontaine, age 67 of Murphy, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2026.
Mark was born in Middleton, New York to the late Mitchell and Paula Beham Lafontaine. He manufactured firearms. Mark loved surfing, fishing, flying RC airplanes and taking the boat on the water. He also loved spending time with his family and his dog, Jasper. Mark was of the Catholic faith.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Teresa Lafontaine; and a sister, Doreen Lafontaine.
He is survived by his son, Sean-Michael Lafontaine (Lauren) and stepson, Sean Wayne Myers; his brother, Roger Lafontaine (Jane); and his grandchildren, Maddison, Dillon and Brenton.
No services are planned at this time.
