Yvonne Roper Andrews, 86, of Hayesville passed away Thursday, June 20, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Desimona Harper Roper. Yvonne loved antiques, and antique booths at local stores. She was a volunteer and officer at Granny's Attic in Hayesville. Yvonne loved to travel, reading, watching movies and loved her grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Carl McGee; a brother, Earl Roper; and a sister, Sarah Ray.
Surviving is her husband, James Andrews; daughters, Lisa McGee Smith (David G.) and Carla Rae Houser (John); stepsons, Ike Andrews, Chris Andrews, and Joey Andrews (Angi); a brother, Ray Roper; and grandchildren, Samuel Smith, Avery Lario, Callie Lario, Jacob Andrews, Abbi Andrews, Christopher Andrews, Cassie Andrews, Lisa Andrews, Katie Andrews, and Jessica Andrews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, June 24, 2024 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home in Hayesville with Rev. Kirk Hatherly officiating. Burial will be at Zion Hill in Turtletown, Tennessee. Pallbearers will be David Smith, John Houser, Sam Smith, Kelly McGee, and Steve Oliver.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Townson-Rose Funeral Home in Hayesville prior to the services.
