Frankie Mae Hutchins Stroud Martin, age 89 of Andrews, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2025.
Frankie was born in Macon County, NC to the late John and Eva Graham Hutchins. She loved talking about her flowers in her garden, shopping, singing and especially spending time with her family and her grandbabies.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Stroud; her second husband, James "Shorty" Martin; her brothers, Thomas "Bud" Hutchins and Alvin Hutchins; and her sisters, Geneva Millsaps, Nettie Ledford, Marie Morgan and Juanita Kirkland.
She is survived by her sons, Eugene Stroud (Hazel), Bruce Stroud (Audrey) and Johnny Laverne Stroud (Angie); her daughters, Paula Ware (Tommy) and Ramona Hensley; her four grandchildren; her 13 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at Townson-Rose Chapel in Andrews with Pastor Fred Deihl officiating. Burial will be in Valleytown Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Johnny Stroud, Mikey Huskins, Danny Cochran, Jody Anderson, Nile Anderson and Tommy Ware.
The family will receive friends from 1pm to 2pm on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at Townson-Rose Chapel in Andrews prior to the funeral service.
