Barbara Ann Carson Glen Gainsway, age 84 of Hayesville, NC passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at the Clay County Care Center.
She was born in La Porte, IN to the late Howard Russell and Marion Adele Carson. Barbara retired from the Coral Oaks Retirement Community in Palm Harbor, Florida as an LPN. She was a member of the Lions Club in Hayesville and also a member of the First United Methodist Church in Hayesville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Russell Franklin Carson and Thomas William Carson.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond "Bud" Gainsway; one son, Bruce Glen of Scottsdale, AZ; one step-son, Charles Glen of La Porte, IN; two brothers, Edward Carson of Eugene, Oregon and John Carson of Layton,UT; and one sister, Sally Granberry of Auburn, AL.
No services are planned at this time.
