Obituary for Charles Lawrence Kerr

 Charles (Larry) Kerr passed away Wednesday, October 18th, after a prolonged battle with cancer. 

     Larry was born on April 19, 1943, in Ocala, FL.  He attended Ocala High School, where he graduated in 1961.  He grew up and raised his family in Ocala, where he owned and operated a small convenience store business.  Larry served his country bravely as a drill sergeant and tank commander, attaining the rank of First Lieutenant in the U. S. Army. 

     He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Terry, whom he loved so deeply.  Also surviving him are his son, Eric (Amy) Kerr, his daughter, Shelli Kerr,  his sister, Janice (Bill) Owen, sister in law Nancy Cramer, and grandchildren, Kyleigh and Devon Morris.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Louise Kerr, and father, Frank.

     Larry will be remembered for his wit, his candor, his stories, and his service to our country.  He wouldn't have it any other way.
