Margie Evelee Taylor, age 68, passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020. She was a lifelong resident of Cherokee County, North Carolina. She was a member of New Hope Church of God and she loved the Lord. Margie was always singing; she loved her nieces and nephews dearly, and was a caregiver.
Margie was preceded in death by her parents, Bass and Hattie Taylor; her brothers, Alvin Taylor, Howard Taylor, and Leon Taylor; her sisters, Janet Lance and Sandra Dockery; her brother-in-laws, Jack Wallace, Bill Trotter, and David Alverson; and her sister-in-law, Freida Taylor.
Margie is survived by her brother, Bass Taylor Jr and wife Shelby of Chattanooga; her sisters, Madlyn Wallace, Claudia Trotter, Jodi Alverson, Lynneta Iles and husband Jimmy, Rebecca Graves and husband Kermit, Kathryn Rogers and husband Charles; her sister-in-law, Rachel Taylor; her brother-in-laws, Robert Lance and Loren Dockery; and lots of nieces and nephews.
There will be a private family graveside service at Ogreeta Cemetery at a later date.
