Jimmy Daniel Snow, age 74 of Murphy, passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021.
He was a native of Cherokee County, NC. Jimmy was a son of the late Karl and Alice Stewart Snow. He was a circus performer for 15 years and a Vietnam Army Veteran with the 101st Airborne. Jimmy had retired from the State of California Department of Corrections before moving to Brasstown, NC in 1993.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five siblings.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Sally Snow; son, Karl Snow; daughter, Alicia Snow; grandchildren; Mallory Johnson and Justice Snow; sister, Jane Allen and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy. Rev. Aud Brown will officiate. Military rites will be conducted by American Legion Post #96, Murphy, American Legion Post 532 Hayesville, VFW Post 6812, Hayesville and the Marine Corp League, Marble.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 pm Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at the funeral home.
