Frank Joseph Allmon, age 82 of Marble, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2022.
Frank was born in Cherokee County to the late Bascomb Granville and Arzona Morrow Allmon. He had worked in furniture manufacturing. Frank enjoyed church, bluegrass music, the harmonica and his family. He enjoyed going to the Senior Citizens Building to fellowship with friends. Frank was a member of Junaluska Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Verlin Allmon and Sheridan Allmon; and his sisters, Fleeta Bell, Flora McDonald and Ellavee Allmon.
Frank is survived by his sister, Virdle Dalton of Zephyrhills, FL; many nieces, nephews, great nephews and nieces; and multiple friends.
A funeral service will be held at 12pm on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel of Murphy with Rev. Patrick O'Dell and Rev. Tully Griggs officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Lamar Stewart, Keith Dalton, and Johnny Palmer.
The family will receive friends from 11am to 12pm on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel of Murphy prior to the funeral service.
