Jack Lee Allen, Jr, age 69 of Hayesville, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2024.
Jack was born in Dayton, Ohio to the late Jack Lee Allen, Sr and Marlene Shipper Allen. He was a captain and pilot for DHL Aviation. Jack enjoyed sailing, flying and living in the mountains. He loved his dogs, his friends and his family. Jack was full of life and was the life of the party but he also enjoyed his quiet mountain life. He is a United States Army veteran.
He is survived by his sister, Teresa Allen of Riverview, FL; his nieces and nephew, Charmain Ellis (Tom) of Gibsonton, FL, Mallorie Royal (Sean) of Dover, Florida and Dale Allen (Elizabeth) of Vancouver, Washington; and his great nieces and nephews, Morgan Ellis of Gibsonton, FL, Shelby Ellis of Gibsonton, FL, Madison Allen of Vancouver, Washington, William Allen of Vancouver, Washington, Brysen Royal of Dover, FL and Nolen Royal of Dover, FL; and his companion, Susi Waugh of Hayesville, NC.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Jack Allen to the SPCA.
