Marion Ann Ripley Sneed, age 70 of Murphy, NC passed away Thursday, July 11, 2024.
She was born in West Palm Beach, Florida to the late Ernest and Jane Hanford Ripley. Marion was a homemaker. She enjoyed flower gardening, avid pet lover, and spending time with her grandchildren. Marion was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mitchell Sneed, Sr.; and one brother, Ernest Ripley, Jr.
She is survived by her children, Mitchell Sneed, Jr. (Susan) of Dalton GA, Eric Sneed (Michelle) of Marietta, GA, and Brian Sneed (Crissy) of Murphy; and one sister, Jane Lucas of Murphy, NC; six grandchildren, Michael, Stephen, Ryan, Christopher, Kaitlyn and Collin; and one great grandchild, Reagan.
A memorial service will be held at 2 pm, Sunday, July 14, 2024 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel of Hayesville. Pastor Steve Sneed will officiate.
