Obituary for Peggy Lynn Roberson

Peggy Lynn Roberson, age 68 of Murphy, NC passed away Monday, August 25, 2025.

She was born in Atlanta, GA to the late Benjamin and Eva Nell Brown. Peggy worked as a C.N.A. in the home healthcare industry. Her greatest achievements were her children and grandchildren. Peggy was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Tonya Walker Conard.

She is survived by two brothers, Mark & Henry Grant; three sisters, Anne Pettus of Kissimmee, FL, Teresa Lloyd of Murphy, NC and Kay Creasman of Jacksonville, FL; three grandchildren, Kaitlyn Lowe, Michael Conard, Ashley Barnett; and four great grandchildren, Wade Kroll, Ava Timpson, Mile Barnett and Emerson Davis.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 pm, Sunday, August 31, 2025 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home in Murphy. Rev. Bo Phillips will officiate. Burial will be in the Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery in Blairsville, GA.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm, Sunday, August 31, 2025 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel.
