Brenda Ruth Elliott, age 74 of Murphy, NC passed away Monday, March 23, 2020.
She was born in Sparta, GA to the late Oscar and Evelyn Marchman Askew. Brenda was a homemaker. She was a member of Little Mountain Church.
In addition to her parents Brenda has been reunited with her three children, Donald, Tammy and Brian Keith; two grandchildren, Joseph and Racheal; brothers, Durrel and Kenneth; sisters, Geraldine and Ann.
She is survived by three children on earth: son, Jeff Elliott and wife Janie; daughter, Teresa Clark and husband Tim; daughter, Paula Hammond; brothers, Neil, Ricky, Jimmy and Randy; 17 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and the love her life and fiance of six years, Robert Botts.
Funeral Services will be held at 3 pm, Friday, March 27, 2020 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy. Rev. Randy Richards will officiate. Burial will be in the Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jim Clark, David Clark, Jonathan Richards, BJ Elliott, Chris Elliott, Steven Janes and Jake Hammond.
