Bobbie Postell Mason met with her husband, Harold, her sons, Lynn and Randy, and her family and friends in Heaven on March 30 th , 2021. She was a member of Red Marble Baptist Church where she once served as Sunday School teacher for the Adult Women's Class and was a continual champion of the youth group who she adored. Bobbie gave sermons to her family at every get together. One of her favorite scriptures was Matthew 25:40, 'And the King will answer them, 'Truly I say to you, as you did it to one of the last of these my brothers, you did it to me.'

She lived in NC, TN, CA, MI, and PA when first married. She served as Post Mistress at the Topton Post Office, worked at Clifton Precision, and served with Office Staff at Tri-County Community College where she later became a teacher of the Human Relations classes. Bobbie graduated from Western Carolina University with a BS degree in Business, Suma Cum Laude. She was an accomplished Watercolorist and studied under Tony Couch; she operated 'Hemlock Knoll Studio' in Copperhill, TN, and won many State and local ribbons and awards. She loved painting the mountain's many moods. She said if she had nothing else but sky and mountains, she could spend a lifetime painting only that and still not cover its entire majesty. Her original 'Heaven and Earth' series were truly breathtaking and captured her love of God and nature. Bobbie loved trees, colors, birds, butterflies, flowers, plants and took her grandchildren on grand adventures to discover these. Bobbie also served as a guest columnist for the Andrews Journal writing humorous accounts of everyday life.

Bobbie is survived by 7 siblings and spouses, a daughter, 2 granddaughters, two grandsons, and four great grandchildren. Her last written note on the day she left for eternity stated, "God has blessed me and been with me throughout my life - work, college degree, having 3 kids, and a wonderful family and the little ones coming on." She was the daughter of the late Isma and Rev. France Postell. She was loved by everyone who knew her and she will be missed so very much.

A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.

in lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Bobbie's honor to Gideons International or St. Jude.
