Robert Joshua Godbold, age 39 from Chicago, IL but currently lived in Murphy, passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2021.
Robert was born in Chicago, IL to Robert and Marcella Radford Godbold. He worked in general contracting construction.
He is preceded in death by his aunt, Donna Radford; an uncle, Samuel Radford; and his grandparents, James and Charlotte Godbold and JC and Lorinne Radford.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughters, Brianna Godbold, Kyla Fischer, Laila Fischer, Acelynn Fischer, Destiny Netzley and Isabelle Molina; his step-daughter, Patience Cordin; his sisters, Stephanie Godbold, April Godbold and Ashley Godbold (Edward Binion); his uncles, Harry Godbold and John Radford; his aunts, Diane Booth and Connie Radford; his nieces and nephews, Jordan, Alexus, Cheyann, Edward, and Katelyn; and several cousins.
A Funeral Service will be held at 7pm on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy. Rev. Aud Brown will officiate.
