Julie Claudine Dix, age 61 of Marble, NC passed away Sunday, January 2, 2022.
She was born in Lawrenceville, GA to Joyce White Fowler of Marble, NC and the late Ernest Fowler. Julie was a taxi driver. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Julie loved contra and square dancing at the John C. Campbell Folk School. She also enjoyed embroidering and crocheting. Julie was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by two sons, Shane Mull (Emily) of Hayesville, NC and Daniel Mull (Candace) of Oak Ridge, TN; one brother, Joe Fowler (Connie) of Marble, NC; and three grandchildren, Branson Mull, Isaac Mull and Elijah Mull.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm, Saturday, January 8, 2022 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy. Rev. Les Seals will officiate. Pallbearers will be Shane Mull, Danie Mull, Joe Fowler, Dennis Day and Jason Pendergrass.
The family will receive friends from 11 am to 1 pm, Saturday, January 8, 2022 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home in Murphy.
