Obituary for Milton Murphy

Milton Murphy, 77, of Murphy passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2023. He was the son of the late Jesse O'Neal Murphy, Sr., and Margaret Nall Murphy. He worked with BJ Johnson and all the Johnson family in property management until he retired. Milton enjoyed life, spending time with his family, Marriage of 56 years. He loved to fish, being outdoors, and the view from his back porch in the mountains. He loved volunteering wiith Hanging Dog Volunteer Fire Department. Milton was liked by everyone and could make anybody smile.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Amber Shaw.

Surviving is his wife, Linda Murphy, two daughters, Patricia Shaw and husband, Mark; and Mandy Gallant and husband, Brian; brother, Jesse O'Neal Murphy, Jr; grandchildren, Peter and Jesse LaRoe, Marissa Watson, Sierra Gallant, and Rylee Gallant; great grandchild, Garrett Watson; and a nephew Mark Murphy. A loving sister-in-law, Brenda Myers from Florida.

Services will be held Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 2:00 pm, Hanging Dog Volunteer Fire Department with Chaplain Bob Boozier.
