Obituary for Sterling Ray Beasley

Sterling Ray Beasley, age 68, of Bulls Gap, passed away on June 6, 2024 at home.

Sterling was born to Therman & Vergie Beasley on July 5, 1955, and graduated from Fostoria High School. He married Sue on June 2, 2007 in Norton, OH. He worked at Honey Well for 30 years and was an army veteran during Vietnam era. Sterling was a pastor for many years, which he enjoyed greatly.

He was preceded in death by Therman and Vergie Beasley; his first wife, Julia Beasley; and brother, Therman Beasley Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Beasley: brothers, John Beasley and Jim Beasley; children, Destiny Beasley, Richard Beasley, Cami Beasley, Amy Beasley, Dan (Lisa) Beasley, Jenni Beasley, Kytha Miller, Kyle Miller; grandchildren, Gabe Salazar, Alex Salazar, Max Salazar and Marly Salazar.

The family of Sterling wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the nurses and staff of Amedisys Hospice.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm, Saturday, June 15, 2024 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy. Rev. Jim Payne will officiate. Burial will be in the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12 pm - 2 pm, Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy.
