Shaun Patrick Nichols, age 45 of Murphy, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2024.
Shaun was born in Cherokee County to Tommy and Ruby Nichols. He enjoyed anything outdoors, such as hiking, fishing, and most importantly hunting. He loved spending time with his family and was a member of Moss Memorial Baptist Church. His faith came as a priority.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancé, Jennifer Webb; and his brother, Travis Nichols.
A funeral service will be held at 12pm, Thursday, September 19, 2024 at Shady Grove Baptist Church in Murphy. Rev. Charlie Shelton will officiate. Burial will be in Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Randy Nichols, Aaron Ashburn, Nathan Sneed, Chris Palmer, David Woody, and Ryan Nichols. Music will be provided by the family.
The family will receive friends from 11am-12pm, prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
