Michael Aaron Barnes, age 13 of Clermont, GA passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2024.
He was born in Gainesville, GA to Justin and Amanda Young Barnes of Clermont, GA. Michael enjoyed playing video games, taking care of his duck, hiking and reading. He loved spending time with his family during their summer vacations, especially at the beach. Michael also loved throwing football with his dad, brother and family friend, Chase.
He was preceded in death by his papaw, Michael Barnes; great papaw, Lloyd Barnes and Paul Morgan, Sr.; great mamaw, Caroleen Morgan; and great great papaw, Grady McGaha.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Steven Barnes; Mamaw, Lily Barnes; great Mamaw, Mary Cook; aunt Stephanie Krokonko (Jimmy); Poppi and Meme, Martin and Samantha Young; uncles, David Young (Stephanie) and Michael Chojn; cousins, Haylee, Emily, Isaiah, Hannah, Amayah and Elijah; great great Mamaw, Ruth McGaha; great aunts, Elizabeth Almond and Linda Sue Morgan; great uncles, Eddie Morgan (Shelly) and Marion Morgan (Holly).
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 pm, Saturday, November 2, 2024 at the Concord Baptist Church in Clermont, GA. Eulogies will be given by family and friends.
