Monica Ann Godsey, age 57 of Young Harris, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2025.
Monica was born in Polk County, Tennessee to the late Martin and Janice McJenkins Harrison. She had worked in the healthcare field as a caregiver. Monica loved living life to the fullest.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Rhonda Harrison.
She is survived by her sons, Dustin Shadix and Jesse Godsey (Kaylee); her daughter, Natasha Newton; her sister, Lisa Harrison; and her grandchildren, Riley, Mckinley, Brinkley and Oakley Newton, Karson Shadix and Reece Godsey.
No services are planned at this time.
