Obituary for William Patrick Branson

William "Bill" Patrick Branson, 70, of Marble passed away Friday, November 7, 2025.

He was the son of the late James and Mary Maloney Branson. Bill had worked as a professional painter. He enjoyed helping others, working on computers and cars. Bill loved Astronomy, avid fisher, and spending time with family. He was a member and Deacon of Bethany Christian Church, Dallas, GA.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James Branson.

Bill is survived by his wife, Rose Lovingood Branson; daughters, Heather Phillips and Jennifer Phillips both of Murphy; a brother, Charles Branson (Annette) of Douglasville, GA; brother-in-laws, Bobby Lovingood (Rhonda) and John Lovingood; sister-in-law, Donna Welch; one grandchild, Ronan Phillips; and nieces and nephews, Joshua C. Branson (Beverly), Jason C. Branson (Shelley), Travis C. Branson (Kristy), Molly B. Vandegraft (Ryan), Zachary C. Branson (Jennifer), Jacob Branson (M), Travis Lovingood, Laura Davis, Seth Morgan, and Jamie Lovingood.

The Branson family had a private Celebration of Life Service.
