James Walter Warner, age 85 of Marble, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2025.
James was born in Crossville, TN to the late John Henry and Cora Eunice Bolin Warner. He was a custodian in the automotive industry and also had worked for Rich Tool Company in Elyria, Ohio. James loved listening to music, especially Merle Haggard who was his favorite country singer and listening to old-time radio shows. He played rhythm guitar in a family band. James was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Wallace and Stephen Warner; and one sister, Paula Warner.
He is survived by one brother, Nick Warner; and one sister, Linda Simmons.
A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Monday, December 29, 2025 at Bilbrey Funeral Homes, 76 East Adams Street, Crossville, TN 38555. Burial will be in Thomas Springs Cemetery in Crossville, TN.
The family will receive friends from 11am to 1pm on Monday, December 29, 2025 prior to the funeral service.
