James Jack Ledford, Sr., age 85 of Hayesville, NC passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021.
He was born in Clay County, NC to the late Guy and Cleo Bradley Ledford. James was retired from the Little Debbie company. He loved to ride horses, build race cars, working in the yard and loved his family. James was a US Marine veteran.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter Lynee Forbes.
He is survived by sons, Tim Ledford and wife Susan and James Jack Ledford, Jr; daughter Jacqueline Woody and husband Tony; eight grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 4:30 pm, Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Oak Forest United Methodist Church Cemetery in Hayesville, NC with Masonic Graveside rites being conducted. Rev. Jackie Sellers will officiate. Pallbearers will be Cory Ledford, Johnny Marr, Dave Thurmond, Tristan Thurmond and John Rickett.
