Kermit Allen Graves, 91, of Murphy passed away Thursday, January 05, 2023. He was the son of the late Bob and Elva Killian Graves.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughters, Vivian Hughes, and Maureen Kent; a son, Shane Graves; brothers, Don Graves, Godfrey Graves, and Bobby Joe Graves; and sisters, Minnice Dockery, Charlsie Kephart, and Lenny Spivey.
Surviving are his wife, Rebecca Jo Taylor Graves; sons, Allen, Todd, and Preston Graves; a daughter, Sandra Dragoo; a brother, Jack Graves; 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, January 8, 2023 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home-Murphy Chapel with Rev. Billy Rhodes and Rev. Warren Golden officiating. Interment will be in Ogreeta Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Colt Jordan, Westley, Dylan, and Josh Graves, and Dalton and Stephen Kent.
The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 pm Sunday, January 8, 2023 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home, Murphy Chapel.
