Clifford Harold Lee, age 95 of Murphy, NC passed away Friday, November 24, 2023.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Cherokee County, NC and the son of Grace Emory Henson and stepson of John Henson. Clifford was a supervisor in the lumber industry. Clifford loved riding in the mountains. He enjoyed getting out and visiting places. Clifford was a member of Calvary Baptist Church but attended Vengeance Creek Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years in 2012, Bertha Holloway Lee and one brother, Leonard Lee and good friend, Junior Mundy.
He is survived by one daughter, Helen Trull (Tom) of Marble; Linda Bryant (Christopher) of Kentucky who he raised and loved as a daughter; three grandchildren, Joel Trull, Jessica Mull and Ashley Churchill; and six great grandchildren, Landon and Jaydon Trull, Savannah, Cason, Hunter and Brantley.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm, Monday, November 27, 2023 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy. Rev. Derrick Palmer will officiate. Rev. Derrick Palmer and Lisa Frye will provide music. Burial will be in the Vengeance Creek Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Joel Trull, Jeff Holloway, Marvin Guffey, Mickey Maennle, Bruce Rose and Chuck Davis.
The family will receive friends from 1 pm to 2 pm, Monday, November 27, 2023 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home in Murphy.
