James Hoyt Stiles, age 79 of Murphy, NC passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2024 in Myrtle Beach, SC.
He was born in Hall County, GA to the late Leonard and Martha Parks Stiles. He was a US Army veteran. James worked for Colonial Pipeline as a project manager. He liked to read, tell tall tales and work on his land with his tractor. James enjoyed woodworking and pleasing his wife. He loves his friends and neighbors.
He is survived by his wife, Winkie Stiles; one son, Jason Stiles of Murphy; one daughter, Melanie LeRoux (Rick) of Cumming, GA; two grandsons, Alex LeRoux and Chase LeRoux.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Legion Honor Guard Post #96, PO Box 96, Murphy, NC 28906.
