Obituary for Robert Charles Rose

11/09/1948 - 12/10/2024

Robert Charles Rose, age 76, passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 from natural causes.

Robert was known as a man of faith, a staunch patriot, and a proud veteran. Professionally, Robert was a lifelong electrician and recently received his 50-year pin from Local 1323.

Personally, he loved to fish, loved to talk politics, and most importantly never turned down a chance to share his faith. Robert's faith was his guiding principle. He loved the Lord and was known to say the words "see you later Lord willing and if not, I will still see you later." He was also known to hand out gummy bears to complete strangers while telling them "If you are gonna be a Christian, you should act like one."

He will be missed by his family and friends who can't wait to see him later in glory.

He leaves behind his sister, Sherry Williams; his sons, Robert and Samuel Rose; his daughter, Tabitha Rose; and his granddaughter, Savanah Rose.

A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy with Pastor Jerry Morrow officiating. Burial will be in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery in Wolf Creek. Pallbearers will be Robert Rose, Samuel Rose, Dakota Garland and Vic Melton.

The family will receive friends from 12pm to 1pm on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy prior to the funeral service.

Townson-Rose Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
