Obituary for Tony Morgan Kirby

Tony Morgan Kirby, age 67 of Murphy, NC passed away Friday, June 20, 2025.

He was born in Greenwood, SC to the late Harman and Helen Capps Kirby. Tony had worked for Appalachian Garage Doors in Blairsville, GA. He loved working puzzles, mowing grass and working with his tools. Tony was crazy about his grandbaby Preston. He was a member of Bellview United Methodist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, David Kirby and one sister, Pam Nelson.

He is survived by his wife, Heidi Kirby; four sons, Tony Kirby, Jr (Michelle), Terry Kirby, Morgan Kirby and Daniel Kirby (Edith); one daughter, Jennifer Kennemore (Michael); two brothers, Greg and Tripp Nelson; two sisters, Judy and Jane Nelson; seven grandchildren, one great grandbaby; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

No services are planned.
