Sandra Gail Graves Dragoo, age 69 of Murphy, NC passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2025.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Cherokee County, NC and the daughter of the late Kermit Graves and Betty Johnson. Sandy loved looking for Indian artifacts, working in her garden, and spending time with her family. She loved to laugh and have a good time. Sandy was a member of Murphy Second Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ron Dragoo; one brother, Shane Graves; and two sisters, Vivian Hughes and Maureen Kent.
She is survived by her daughter, Stacie Graves; step mother, Becky Graves; three brothers, Allen Graves, Todd Graves (Misty) and Preston Graves all of Murphy; one grandson, Dylan Graves (Courtney); one great grand baby one the way; nephews, Brian Kent, Greg Hughes and Jason Hughes; great nieces, Sage Kent and Kelsey Hughes; and great nephews, Dalton "Bubba" Kent and Evan Hughes.
