Betty Kate Dockery Beaver Payne, age 84 of Turtletown, TN, passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2022.
Betty was born in Blount County, TN to the late James and Mae Coleman Dockery. She was an inspector for the Lee Company. Betty loved to be happy and loved working with kids. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Turtletown Baptist.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Homer Beaver; her second husband, Earl Payne; a daughter, Kathy Jean Bittner and sister Linda Gail Bright.
She is survived by her husband, Buck Scarborough; her daughters, Pamela Beaver, Patricia Beaver, and Karen Jane Hunt (Michael); a brother, Kenneth Dockery (Mary Jo); four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11am on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at Unaka Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5pm-7pm on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy.
