Joben Clifford Donaldson, age 88, of Marble, NC passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024.
Joben was born to the late Fred and Ezra Cole Donaldson in Cherokee County on August 12, 1935. He was an iron worker.
In addition to his parents, he is proceeded in death by his wife, Verdie Newton Patterson; and a son, Marvin Joe Patterson.
He is survived by a sister, Ruth Newton; twin granddaughters, Christi and Misti Killian, and Kandi Casa all of Murphy, NC; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Murphy Chapel at 4pm, Sunday, April 28, 2024. Rev. Aud Brown will officiate. Burial will be in the Little Brasstown Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jason Newton, Bronson Newton, Jamie Reynolds, Kevin Bailey, Justin knight, and Darrell Donaldson.
A visitation will be held before the service, from 2pm-4pm, Sunday, April 28, 2024.
