Ruth Ledford, age 89 of Hayesville, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2025.
Ruth was born in Clay County to the late William Melton and Laura Ledford Moss. She worked as an inspector for a clothing manufacturing company. Ruth enjoyed attending revivals and enjoyed working.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Troy, Lloyd, Leon and Clyde Moss; and her sisters, Edith Davenport and Mattie Kay Hogsed.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Hayesville with Rev. Bill Trotter officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Hayesville.
The family will receive friends from 12pm to 1pm on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Hayesville prior to the funeral service.
