Obituary for Carolyn Sue Radford

Carolyn Sue Radford of College Park, Georgia passed away Sunday, September 29, 2024 at her home.

She is survived by her husband Shirrel Radford of College Park, Georgia. She is preceded in death by her daughter Shirley Sue. She is survived by brothers, a sister and several nieces and nephews.

Sue was born and raised in West Virginia. She met Shirrel, married and moved to College Park, Georgia where they made their home. Sue worked as a salesperson for JC Penny for a short period of time and then left to take care of their daughter. Sue had a strong faith and served in the church in many capacities. She had a loving home, beautiful smile and welcomed everyone into her home.

Friends are invited to Tabernacle Assembly of God, 1580 Agape Way in Decatur, Georgia, Thursday, October 3,2024 for a 10:00 am visitation and then worship service immediately following at 11:00 am.

Sue will be laid to rest at Hanging Dog Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery Friday, October 4,2024 at 2 pm with a graveside service by Rev. Emanuel Williams.
