James "Bubba" Earl Whitehead, III, age 33 of Hayesville, passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025.
Bubba was born in Jacksonville, FL to Tresia Long Flattes of Hayesville, NC and the late James Earl Whitehead, II. He worked as mechanic and welder. Bubba loved the guitar and riding motorcycles. He loved his family, especially spending time with his nieces and nephews. Bubba was a great artist.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his stepfather, Francisco "Poppie" Paul Flattes, II.
He is survived by his mother, Tresia Long Flattes; brothers, William Thomas (Jessica) and Luke Thomas (Lori); sisters, Amanda Manning (Robert), Carrie Hall (Joseph), Crystal Thomas and Nichole Thomas; and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 5 pm to 7 pm, Friday, October 31, 2025 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home in Murphy.
