Wanda Davis Kephart, 100, of Murphy went to her Heavenly Home Saturday, September 2, 2023.
She was a native and lifetime resident of Cherokee County. Wanda was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. She was born to the late Fess and Ella Wilson Davis.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 12 siblings; her husband, Wade Kephart; and a grandson, Victor Kephart.
She is survived by her daughter, Mildred K. Chamblee (James); sons, James Kephart (Alice) and Wayne Kephart.(Joyce); daughters, Faye Stiles and Lori Galgano (John); 13 grandchildren;17 great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Gladys Davis; special nieces, Glenda Swanson and Katherine Deweese; and neighbors, Fern and Judy Lechance.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel of Murphy with Pastor Kenneth Dockery and Dr. Eddis Dockery officiating. Burial will be in the Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Alex Hoffman, Taylor Pyeatt, Kaen Stark, Thomas and Nathan Smith, Barry Hice, and Tommy Page.
The family will receive friends from 12pm - 2pm on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel of Murphy.
