Carole Jean Hubbell, age 83 of Murphy, NC passed away Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Murphy Medical Center.
She was born in Ionia, Michigan to the late Bernard Wilson and Ann Stevens McManigal. Carole was a secretary. She was the Director of Religious Education at the St. Williams Catholic Church and also the Director of the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. Carole was the co-founder of the Samaritan Promise Stores.
She is survived by her husband, Carl Hubbell; four sons, Allen David Hubbell of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Martin Joseph Hubbell of Richmond, Virginia, Carl Warner Hubbell, Jr of Phoenix, Arizona and Roger Wilson Hubbell of Nashville, Tennessee; three daughters, Victoria Ann Switala of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Christa Mae Mitchell of Scottsdale, Arizona and Mary Kay Downing of Phoenix, Arizona.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM, Thursday, February 2, 2017 at the St. William Catholic Church in Murphy. Father Alejandro (Alex) Ayala will officiate.
A viewing will be held from 10-11 AM, Thursday, February 2, 2017 at the St. William Catholic Church in Murphy.
