Mary Doxie Vincent Hines, age 90 of Murphy, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024.
Mary was born in Clarke County, MS to the late Pete and Mary Audra Jessup Vincent. She loved music, sewing and playing golf with her husband. Mary enjoyed her work at LSU Medical School as the secretary to the Registrar and assistant Registrar. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband as he was in the military. Mary was of the Methodist faith.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Hines; her son in law, Hollis Vose; and her sister, Ruth Vincent.
She is survived by her daughter, Belinda Faye Vose of Murphy; her grandson, Richard Vose (Julia) of Idar-Oberstein, Germany; and her great grandsons, Thomas and Alexander Vose, also of Idar-Oberstein, Germany.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 7 pm, Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at the Redeemer Baptist Church in Blairsville, GA. An inurnment will be held Friday, May 24, 2024 at the Griffin Cemetery in Moss Point, Mississippi.
