Dorothy Marie Panther, age 84 of Murphy passed away Thursday July 26, 2018. Dorothy was born to the late Homer Baker and Mary Bishop Baker. Dorothy was a kind and gentle soul. She was of the baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Hank Panther and sister, Shirley Baker.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter-in-law, Mary Panther; grandchildren, Tiffany, Shawn and Crystal; brothers, Bobby, Roy and Ralph, Homer Jr., Wade, Danny, David, Tony and George; sisters, Haley, Saretha, Brenda, Rita, Dianne and Evelyn and several great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3PM, Sunday July 29, 2018 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel of Murphy. Rev. Richard Mashburn will officiate. Pallbearers will be Michael Hall, Scott, Calvin and Robin Baker. Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1-3PM, Sunday July 29, 2018.
